Dear Readers
A big welcome to the eight edition of ‘The Village Newsletter’
The summer is fast approaching and hopefully weather wise it will be an improvement on last year. As always the Village Centre and its vast array of services are here to serve the community so do drop in and let us know what we can do for you.

 The Jigsaw Centre are delighted with the completion of our 2 small garden spaces. We hope to have funding for our large garden this year to finish our outdoor areas. The children love the new areas and are enjoying lots of time playing on the soft surfaces and caring for the new plants.
The annual toddle waddle for Barnardos takes place in May and we hope all our parents,relatives and friends will support our energetic children.
Finally, there are very limited spaces available at present. However we hope to have more spaces available in September. Applications forms can be filled in at our reception desk. |

The young peoples Community Events Committee would like to ask for volunteers fot this years Summer Project.
The Propject will hopefully run for the month of July, depending on volunteers. If you can even give one day , it would be much appreciated.

Darndale Belcamp Village Festival 2008
The Village Festival will take place on Sunday 27th July. The list of events will be published in the next edition. Needless to say it will be a fun filled day with lots of activities and music for all the family to enjoy.
As always we need some volunteers to help organise and run the festival so if you have some time to spare and would like to get involved. Please contact Breda at 01 8771601
